Acceptable Identification and Residency Request - West Shore RCMP

Individuals must present two (2) pieces of identification (with the same name on both) from the following list:

***Please note that the British Columbia Services Card is considered as one piece of identification***

The names on both identifications need to match.

Expired identification will not be accepted. 

•  Valid Driver’s Licence with photo
•  Valid BC Identification Card with photo
•  Valid Passport
•  Valid Nexus Card
•  Native Status Card
•  Canadian Citizenship Card
•  Permanent Resident Card
•  Military Identification
•  Birth Certificate
•  Firearms Licence

Proof of residency within the West Shore RCMP Policing Jurisdiction is required:

• City of Langford
• City of Colwood
• Town of View Royal
• District of Highlands
• District of Metchosin
• Songhees First Nation
• Esquimalt First Nation
