Sea to Sky RCMP seeks information in thefts

The Sea to Sky RCMP (Whistler Detachment) is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male who is believed to be responsible for numerous thefts of jackets from retail stores in various locations throughout British Columbia and Alberta. 

On May 15, 2026 the Sea to Sky RCMP (Whistler Detachment) received a call reporting a theft from a retail store operating in the Resort Municipality of Whistler.  Police investigators were able to obtain photos of the suspect, and are releasing photos of this individual with the hope that somebody will be able to provide Police with information on his identity. 

The male is described as:

• Caucasian male
• Light brown facial hair
• Approximately 6 ft (182 cm)
• Approximately 220 lbs (99 kg)
• Wearing dark-rimmed glasses, a white shirt, tan-coloured jacket, light blue jeans, black and white running shoes and a mustard-yellow fedora-style hat
