On behalf of the Sea to Sky RCMP, Officer in Charge Inspector Robert Dykstra is inviting residents, businesses, and community partners to help shape policing priorities across the Sea to Sky corridor.  Serving Bowen Island, Lions Bay, Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton and the rural areas of the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District, the Sea to Sky RCMP recognizes that each community has unique needs and expectations of its police service.

To ensure your voice is heard, we are inviting residents to participate in a short, user-friendly survey to identify the public safety issues that matter most to each community. The feedback received will directly inform the Sea to Sky RCMP Strategic Plan for 2026-2030 and help guide our policing priorities over the coming years.

In January 2027, the Sea to Sky RCMP Detachments will be hosting town halls in each community throughout the corridor, providing opportunities for residents to meet police officers in person, share their perspectives, and discuss local public safety concerns.

“While our commitment to serving our communities remains unchanged, we are focused on creating more opportunities for meaningful engagement and open dialogue. The Sea to Sky RCMP is committed to being transparent, approachable, and responsive to the communities we serve. ‘Protecting Our Communities, Connecting Our Corridor’ is more than a slogan; it reflects our commitment to listening, engaging, and working together to build safer communities across the Sea to Sky region," says Staff Sergeant Gareth Bradley, Operations Commander for the Sea to Sky RCMP Whistler Detachment.

The Sea to Sky RCMP is encouraging all residents, businesses and community partners to participate in the 2026-2030 Strategic Planning by accessing the QR codes or survey links below.
