Child sexual exploitation
The Internet changed the way child sexual exploitation offences are committed, investigated, and prosecuted. The RCMP is committed to reducing the vulnerability and sexual exploitation of children by identifying victimized children; investigating and helping with the prosecution of offenders domestically and internationally; providing training, operational research, technological advancement and investigative support to policing partners; and, gathering and sharing criminal intelligence.
