Assistant Commissioner David Teboul has been a Member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police since 1997. Aside from serving in RCMP detachments (frontline policing) on the West coast of Canada, David Teboul'sservice has included over a decade of homicide investigative work (in Canada's largest homicide unit); several years in charge of the RCMP's Anti-Corruption Unit, responsible investigations into the most serious case of police corruption in British Columbia and across Canada; before joining British Columbia's National Security Counter-Terrorism Program which he served for 8 years and led for almost 3 years. He was subsequently named as the Officer in Charge of E Division Federal Policing, responsible for Federal Policing unit in British Columbia.
In March 2024, David was appointed to the rank of Assistant Commissioner in the position of Federal Policing Regional Commander for the Pacific Region (British Columbia and the Yukon), leading all Federal Programs (namely National Security, Drugs and Organized Crime, Border Integrity, Financial Integrity, Protective Services and the Federal Operations Support Group).
David Teboul has served the Undercover and Critical Incident Programs for many years, was a crisis and hostage negotiator in British Columbia's Lower Mainland and currently the co-lead of the RCMP's International Negotiator Group, which has granted him a vast international experience operating in some of the most challenging environments; Africa, Southeast Asia and Israel. David Teboul holds the RCMP's Major Case Management Team Commander Accreditation in addition to having been granted several RCMP service awards and commendations.
