When the COVID-19 pandemic took hold in March, the lives of RCMP employees — like all Canadians — changed overnight. Even though many buildings had to close, the work didn't stop. Here's a look at what employees accomplished to keep Canadians, communities and each other safe.

COVID-19 has affected how we all live and work.

While some buildings had to close for a while

Many worked remotely to flatten the COVID-19 curve.

Others took precautions and continued to answer your calls.

RCMP officers patrolled communities to prevent crime.

They watched over the border to enforce travel directives.

They warned Canadians about scams

and the consequences of making threats online.

As RCMP buildings start to reopen
