Update - Gimli RCMP now searching for two missing female youths
On January 12, 2026, at 5:50 pm, Gimli RCMP received a report of a missing 15-year-old female from a residence located on Highway 9 in the RM of Gimli.
Sophie Martin was last seen earlier in the afternoon leaving her home and is now believed to be in the City of Winnipeg with 16-year-old Nevaeh-Lee Michelle-Richard, who was reported missing to the Gimli RCMP on January 9.
Sophie Martin is approximately 5’3’’, 110lbs with black shoulder length wavy hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black FX jacket, black top with camouflage pattern pants.

On January 9, 2026, at approximately 4:30 pm, Gimli RCMP received a report of a missing 16-year-old female.
Nevaeh-Lee Michelle-Richard was last seen leaving school at 3:55 pm and did not return home to her residence in Gimli.
RCMP and her family are concerned for her safety.
Nevaeh-Lee is approximately 5’8”, 120lbs, with long black hair with teal streaks in the front. She has hazel eyes and braces on her teeth. She also wears a nose ring on the left side of her nose.
Nevaeh-Lee may be in the Winnipeg area.
