Beausejour RCMP looking for suspect after an attempted break and enter to a home

On March 29, at 2:24 am, Beausejour RCMP responded to a break and enter in progress at a residence in the 800 block of Ashton Avenue in Beausejour. The homeowners heard loud noises coming from the front door and observed a male trying to break the door.
The suspect noticed the homeowners and ran away. Beausejour RCMP, an RCMP drone operator and RCMP Police Dog Services attended but officers could not locate the suspect.
Further investigation and review of many surveillance videos helped officers identify the suspect as Jacon Ashe, 22, from the RM of Reynolds. He is now wanted for:
- Break and enter,
- Mischief,
- Fail to comply with a release order x 2
He is described as 5’11”, 185 lbs with red hair and blue eyes.
If seen, do not approach and call 911. The RCMP is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Jacob Ashe to contact the Beausejour RCMP at 204-268-1234 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477 or submit a secure tip online at www.manitobacrimestoppers.com.
Beausejour RCMP continue to investigate.
