Pukatawagan RCMP arrest two, and search for third male after home invasion

On April 17, 2026, at approximately 11:00pm, Pukatawagan RCMP responded to a home invasion at a residence on Ballantyne Drive in Mathias Colomb Cree Nation.
When officers arrived, the residents advised that three male suspects had forced their way inside the home. All of the suspects were armed with a firearm but fled the scene before police arrived.
No one inside the home was physically injured.
Officers were given descriptions of the suspects and began patrols. A short time later two males were arrested without incident in the community.
A third suspect, 23-year-old Creedan Bighetty, from Winnipeg, is Wanted on a number of charges.
A 16-year-old male from Mathias Colomb Cree Nation is facing the following charges:
- Using firearm in the commission of an offence – while committing an offence;
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon or restricted weapon;
- Possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized;
- Breaking and entering with intent;
A 17-year-old male from Mathias Colomb Cree Nation is facing the following charges:
- Using firearm in the commission of an offence – while committing offence;
- Unauthorized possession of a prohibited weapon or restricted weapon;
- Possession of a firearm when knowing possession unauthorized;
- Breaking and entering with intent;
- Disguised with intent to commit offence;
- Fail to comply with release order condition x 2;
The incident is believed to be targeted and there is no current threat to the community.
