Update - The 14-year-old female reported missing on May 21 has been located deceased. Stonewall RCMP, with assistance of the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, continue to investigate.

On May 21, at approximately 9:35 p.m, Stonewall RCMP received a report of a missing 14-year-old female from an address on Government Road in Lake Francis.

Shay Redhead, 14, was last seen at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, when she was seen on social media in a field where her family’s horses are. She was not home when her father and brother returned to the residence that evening.

The teen’s cellphone is not on. A search of the property and the community was not successful. Friends of the girl say they haven’t seen her.

RCMP and Redhead’s family are very concerned for her well-being.

Redhead is about 5’6”, with a thin build, shoulder-length blonde hair with brown roots and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a grey shirt, with a black zip sweater with large pink flowers on it, black leggings and pink Crocs.
