On May 23, at approximately 5:45 p.m., RCMP received a report of a disturbance at a residence in Dauphin.

Officers responded and found a male youth inside, with smashed dishes on the kitchen floor. RCMP arrested the suspect. While taking the suspect to the police vehicle, the youth suddenly flung his body forward and intentionally head butted the rear driver side window, breaking it with his forehead.

An ambulance was called and the suspect was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.
