Pukatawagan RCMP make arrests in second shooting

On May 26, 2026, at 12:50 am, Pukatawagan RCMP received a report of shots fired towards a home in the community. People were in the home at the time of the shooting however no injuries were reported.
The subsequent investigation has led to the arrest of two males, a 14-year-old and a 17-year-old, who were taken into custody without incident.
This incident occurred approximately 45 minutes after two males had been shot at and injured while operating a quad in the community. Information on the first shooting incident can be found here: https://rcmp.ca/en/manitoba/news/2026/05/4353491
Investigators believe this second shooting was likely a retaliatory incident.
It is now believed that all suspects involved in the two shooting incidents have been arrested.
