On May 4, 2026, at 11:40 am, Norway House RCMP received a request for assistance from First Nation Safety Officers (FNSO’s) to attend to a residence in the community.

Officers responded and met with the FNSO’s who were dealing with a complaint when they observed a quantity of cash in the home. The FNSO’s detained five individuals on scene and contacted RCMP for assistance.

Once on scene, officers met with the FNSO’s who provided the context of what had taken place. The five suspects were then placed under arrest for Possession of property obtained by crime.

A search warrant was drafted and later executed within the residence which led to the seizure of the cash, a loaded 9mm handgun, ammunition, body armor, several knives, pieces of jewelry and numerous electronic devices.

RCMP have charged 25-year-old Brock Mann, from Winnipeg, and 37-year-old Chelsea Queskekapow, from Kinosao Sipi Cree Nation, with Possession of property obtained by crime and numerous firearm-related offences. They were both remanded into custody.

The three other accused, a 38-year-old female, along with a 17-year-old male and a 16-year-old female, all from Kinosao Sipi Cree Nation, were released on Appearance Notices for a future court appearance where they will each face a charge of Possession of property obtained by crime.

Norway House RCMP continue to investigate.
