Selkirk RCMP respond to fatal motorcycle collision

On June 13, 2026, at 1:14 pm, Selkirk RCMP responded to a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Provincial Road 320 and the access road to Highway 4, in the RM of St Andrews.

Officers were advised that a large group of motorcycles were travelling north on Breezy Point Road (PR 320) and were proceeding to turn west onto the access road to Highway 4 when one of the motorcycles attempted to turn west and was struck by a southbound pickup truck.

The driver of the pickup truck, a 26-year-old male from the RM of St Andrews, was not injured.

The driver of the motorcycle, a 65-year-old male, and the passenger, a 72-year-old female, both from Winnipeg, were pronounced deceased on scene. 

Selkirk RCMP, along with the Manitoba RCMP Traffic Services, continue to investigate.
