On June 12, 2026, at 10:39 am, Steinbach RCMP responded to a two-motor-vehicle collision at the intersection of PR311 and PR 210, near Giroux.
A pickup truck was travelling north on PR 210 when it collided with a SUV that was travelling west on PR 311, turning onto PR210.
The driver of the pickup truck, a 26-year-old male from La Broquerie, was transported by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries. He was later released from the hospital that same day.
The driver of the SUV, a 73-year-old female from Winnipeg, was transported to hospital by air ambulance with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. She remains in hospital. The passenger, a 75-year-old male from Winnipeg, was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He was released from hospital the next day.
