On July 7, at approximately 9 a.m., Swan River RCMP received a report that a break and enter had occurred overnight at a business on Highway 10, on the Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation.
Officers went to the business and learned someone had forced entry into the building sometime overnight. It appears lottery tickets and various snack foods were taken.
A male suspect was identified and subsequently located in the community a few hours later. He was arrested without incident.
Leslie Bourassa, 33, of Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation is charged with break and enter.
He was remanded into custody.
