On July 7, at approximately 4:30 p.m., Swan River RCMP’s General Investigation Section, with the assistance of general duty members, located and arrested a male wanted on a warrant of arrest outside a business on the 1200-block of Main Street.
The suspect had been wanted on a charge of dangerous driving in connection with a two-vehicle collision on Highway 10 in November 2025.
He was arrested without incident at his parked vehicle. While at the vehicle, RCMP observed a rifle in plain view in the back seat.
In addition to the dangerous driving charge, Jason Mullin, 52, of the RM of Swan Valley West is charged with possession of a firearm when knowing possession is unauthorized.
He was released on an undertaking.
