Carman RCMP looking for suspect after male assaulted, truck stolen

On July 20, at approximately 9:05 p.m., Carman RCMP received a report that a male had been assaulted, tied up and had his truck stolen.

The incident occurred at a residential property in Carman. Officers responding to the incident learned a female living on the property approached the 59-year-old male who owns the property, demanded the keys to his truck and then began to assault him when he refused. The suspect then bound his hands together with cords and duct tape, stole his keys, wallet, money and some tools, and drove away in the truck.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment of his injuries.

The truck has since been recovered by RCMP but efforts to locate the suspect have so far been unsuccessful.

RCMP have issued a warrant of arrest for Miranda Geras, a 37-year-old female from Carman, in connection with this incident. Geras is about 5’2”, with a medium build, brown hair and green eyes.
