Steinbach RCMP locate stolen vehicle, make arrest

On July 22,2026, at approximately 4:30 pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report about a vehicle that had been stolen and was now observed travelling west down Main Street.
Officers began patrols for the vehicle and located the vehicle still on Main Street and initiated a traffic stop.
The male driver of the vehicle was then arrested without incident.
Christopher Gladu, 38, from Winnipeg, is charged with:
- Breach of Recognizance x2
- Taking Motor Vehicle without consent of owner
- Uttering Threats x2
- Assault causing bodily harm
He was remanded into Custody.
