Headingley RCMP respond to fatal collision near Sanford

On September 22, 2026, at 5:07 am, Headingley RCMP received a report of a two-vehicle collision involving a semi-truck and a SUV at the intersection of Highway 3 and PR 334, in the RM of Macdonald.
Officers responded and learned that the semi-truck was travelling east on Highway 3 when it collided with an SUV that was travelling south on PR 334.
The driver of the SUV, a 62-year-old male from Sanford, was pronounced deceased on scene.
The driver of the semi-truck, a 58-year-old male from Morden, was treated for minor-non-life-threatening injuries.
Headingley RCMP, along with the Manitoba Traffic Services, continue to investigate.
