RCMP seeking public’s help following suspicious fire

The Codiac Regional RCMP is seeking the public's help in connection with a suspicious fire in Dieppe, N.B.

On December 28, 2024, at approximately 6:45 a.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP and the Dieppe Fire Department responded to a report of two vehicles on fire on Napoléon Street, in Dieppe.

Through the investigation, it was determined that the fire had been intentionally set. No one was injured at the time of the incident.

Anyone with information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.

An investigator with the Office of the New Brunswick Fire Marshal is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
