Report a crime
- To report a crime or speak with a police officer, call 1-888-506-RCMP (7267).
- If you are outside of Canada, contact your local police service and ask them to request assistance from the appropriate Canadian law enforcement agency.
- To provide a tip anonymously, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), use the secure P3 Mobile App or send your tip through Secure Web Tips.
- Some crimes can be reported online.

For inquiries regarding firearms licenses or registration, contact the Canadian Firearms Program.
Fingerprinting, criminal record, and vulnerable sector checks
If you need services like fingerprinting or a criminal records check, contact your local police service to have your fingerprints taken and process your application for a certified criminal record check or a vulnerable sector check.
