A 27-year-old man from Pennfield, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash in Lepreau, New Brunswick.
On March 29, 2025, at approximately 3:12 a.m., members of the St. George RCMP detachment responded to a report of a single vehicle crash on Highway 1, in Lepreau. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries.
The crash is believed to have occurred when the vehicle, travelling eastbound in the left lane on Highway 1, hit the guard rail, rolled across the highway on to the other side, and landed in the ditch.
Members of the St. George and Pennfield Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick attended the scene. A member of the New Brunswick Coroner’s Office is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
An autopsy will be scheduled to determine the man's exact cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing.
