RCMP seeking public’s help following arson

The Richibucto RCMP is seeking the public's help in connection with an arson in Napan, N.B.

On March 20, 2025, at approximately 10:09 a.m., members of the Richibucto RCMP received a report of a fire that had occurred at a seasonal business on Weldfield Collette Road, in Napan, N.B.

Once on scene, police noticed that three buildings were previously burnt down, and several pieces of equipment were vandalized. Through the investigation, it was determined that the fire had been intentionally set. The business was unoccupied at the time of the fire.

Police believed the incident had occurred sometime between November 2024 and March 20, 2025.

Anyone who has information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Richibucto RCMP at 506-523-4611. The investigation is ongoing.
