Missing 26-year-old woman located deceased, Major Crime Unit investigating

The New Brunswick RCMP’s Major Crime Unit is investigating after a missing woman was located deceased in Maces Bay, N.B.

On April 15, 2025, the St. George RCMP detachment received a report of a missing 26-year-old woman from Musquash, N.B.

On April 17, the Major Crime Unit took carriage of the investigation, and the woman’s vehicle was located the same afternoon in Maces Bay. Later that day, the woman’s body was located with the assistance of Police Dog Services.

At this time, police believe criminality to be a factor in the woman’s death. An autopsy has been scheduled to determine her exact cause of death.
