The Western Valley Region RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate a 30-year-old man in connection with a series of offences in the Woodstock, N.B. region.
On July 25, 2025, members of the Western Valley Region RCMP were patrolling in Benton, N.B. when they came across an individual driving an all-terrain vehicle (ATV) with no helmet. The individual, a 30-year-old man from Benton, was known to police and is currently on several conditions, including being prohibited from driving, and being bound by an ankle monitor which he had cut off. Police attempted to stop the man, who then ran his ATV into a police vehicle and proceeded to flee.
A short time later, police observed the man driving his ATV through the parking lot of the RCMP detachment in Woodstock, and through the front lawn of the Woodstock Provincial Courthouse. Both properties sustained minor damages.
If you have seen him or if you have information on his whereabouts, please contact the Western Valley Region RCMP at 506-325-3000. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.
