53-year-old man dies following two-vehicle collision

A 53-year-old man from Rusagonis, N.B., has died following a two-vehicle collision in Waasis, N.B.

On August 19, 2025, at approximately 6:58 p.m., members of the Oromocto RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Nevers Road in Waasis, N.B.

The collision is believed to have occurred when the driver of a vehicle, travelling northbound, was turning left into a driveway and was struck by a motorcycle travelling southbound. The driver of the motorcycle died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The driver of the car did not suffer any injuries.

Members of the Oromocto Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick attended the scene. A member of the New Brunswick Coroner's office is assisting with the ongoing investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
