60-year-old man dies following single-vehicle crash

A 60-year-old man from Riverview, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash in Upper Coverdale, N.B.

On August 18, 2025, at approximately 2:20 p.m., members of the Caledonia Region RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Route 112 in Upper Coverdale. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the vehicle, travelling westbound, left the roadway, entered the ditch, and struck a culvert, causing it to roll over.

Members of the Riverview Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and the New Brunswick Coroner’s office also attended the scene. An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.

An autopsy will be conducted to determine the man’s exact cause of death.
