On August 21, 2025, at approximately 7:40 p.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP observed a motorcyclist riding a motorcycle without a helmet on St. George Street, in Moncton. As police approached the vehicle with their emergency equipment activated, the driver fled at a high rate of speed in a dangerous manner. Police did not pursue the motorcycle.

The individual is described as an average size man, with short, dark hair. At the time of the incident, he was wearing aviator-style sunglasses, a black jacket and black pants. The motorcycle is described as a blue Hyosung Aquila GV650 cruiser style and has no licence plate.

The RCMP is now releasing photos of the suspect and the motorcycle in hopes that information from the public may help identify him or provide additional information to help the investigation.
