58-year-old man dies following two-vehicle collision

A 58-year-old man from Beaurivage, N.B., has died following a two-vehicle collision in Saint-Ignace, N.B.

On September 10, 2025, at approximately 9:15 p.m., members of the Richibucto RCMP responded to a report of a collision involving a motorcycle and a sport utility vehicle (SUV) on Saint-Ignace Road in Saint-Ignace, N.B.

The collision is believed to have occurred when the SUV, travelling northbound, took exit 69, proceeded onto Saint-Ignace Road, and got struck by an oncoming motorcycle. 

The driver of the motorcycle, a 58-year-old man from Beaurivage, died at the scene as a result of his injuries. The driver of the SUV was not injured.

Members of the Saint-Louis Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and a member of the New Brunswick Coroner's Office attended the scene. A New Brunswick RCMP Traffic Reconstructionist is assisting with the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
