Update, March 10, 2026: On February 18, 2026, the individual who was wanted by police on a warrant was arrested on an unrelated matter on the Indian Brook First Nation in Nova Scotia. On March 10, 2026, 29-year-old Cody MacLeod of Kensington, P.E.I., appeared in Moncton Provincial Court and was charged with two counts of pointing a firearm, robbery with a firearm, robbery with an offensive weapon, assault with a weapon, fail to comply with a probation order and mischief under $5000. He was remanded into custody until his next court appearance. 

Update: February 6, 2026: The Codiac Regional RCMP is still actively seeking information to identify and locate a man from Kensington, P.E.I., wanted by police on a warrant of arrest for an armed robbery that occurred in Moncton, N.B. Police believe he could now be in Truro, Nova Scotia. He is believed to be armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach and call 911 immediately. The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s help to locate a 29-year-old man from Kensington, P.E.I., that is wanted by police on a warrant of arrest.

On October 10, 2025, a warrant of arrest was issued for a 29-year-old man from Kensington, P.E.I., in connection with an armed robbery that occurred in Moncton, N.B., on August 27, 2025.

He is believed to be armed and dangerous. If you see him, do not approach and call 911 immediately.
