84-year-old man dies following single all-terrain vehicle crash

An 84-year-old man from Saint-François, has died following a single all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash in Saint-François-de-Madawaska, N.B.

On October 6, 2025, at approximately 4:26 p.m., members of the Saint-Léonard RCMP detachment responded to a report of an ATV crash on Rang 2 in Saint-François-de-Madawaska.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the ATV left the roadway and rolled over. The driver and sole occupant of the ATV died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

Members of the Saint-François Fire Department and Ambulance New Brunswick attended the scene.

A member of the New Brunswick Coroner’s Office attended the scene and is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
