The New Brunswick RCMP has arrested a 33-year-old man from Saint-Antoine, N.B., and charges have been laid following a firearm-related incident in Saint-Antoine, N.B.
On October 18, 2025, at approximately 11:20 a.m., members of the Richibucto RCMP responded to a complaint of a discharged firearm, directed at two individuals on Haut Saint Damien Road in Saint-Antoine. One individual suffered what were believed to be minor injuries and was treated at the scene. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.
Early in their investigation, a person of interest was identified.
On October 19, 2025, The Richibucto RCMP and the New Brunswick RCMP’s Southeast District Community Crime Reduction Unit arrested a 33-year-old man at a residence on Haut Saint Damien Road in Saint-Antoine without incident.
On October 23, 2025, 33-year-old Nathan Leblanc appeared in Moncton Provincial Court and was charged with:
- Three counts of pointing a firearm
- Two counts of weapons possession contrary to an order
- Two counts of assault with a weapon
- Two counts of assault
- Reckless discharge of a firearm
- Careless use of a firearm
- Possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
He was remanded into custody and is scheduled to reappear in Moncton Provincial Court on November 6, 2025.
The investigation is ongoing.
