The Codiac Regional RCMP is seeking the public’s help following an assault with a weapon in Moncton, N.B.
On October 20, 2025, at approximately 11 p.m., the Codiac Regional RCMP received a report that an assault with a weapon had occurred on Archibald Street, in Moncton.
Two individuals approached a man and a woman who were in their vehicle on Archibald Street. The two individuals got into a verbal altercation with the two occupants of the vehicle and subsequently, one of the individuals took out a firearm and threatened the female. The firearm is believed to be a black handgun. The two individuals fled the scene before police arrived. No one was injured during the incident.
The first individual is described as an African Canadian man, between six feet one inch and six feet three inches (185 and 190 centimetres) tall. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black hoodie.
The second individual is described as a Hispanic man, between five feet eight inches and five feet ten inches (173 and 178 centimetres) tall. At the time of the incident, he was wearing black gloves with skull imprints.
Police are now releasing surveillance footage photos of the individuals, in hopes that someone may recognize them.
Police are asking anyone who was walking, travelling in, or who resides in the area, and may have a security camera or dash cam footage from the time of the incident, or who has information that may help further the investigation, is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400. The investigation is ongoing.
