RCMP seeking public’s help following firearm incident

The Chaleur Region RCMP is asking for the public’s help following a firearm incident in Lorne, N.B.

On November 10, 2025, during the early morning hours, the Chaleur Region RCMP received a report of a firearm incident at a residence on Sunnyside Drive in Lorne. Two individuals fired a firearm towards a residence and then fled the scene in a small white car towards Route 11. No one was injured during the incident.

Police are now asking anyone who resides in the area and witnessed suspicious activity, who may have security camera footage from the early morning hours of November 11, or who has information that could help further the investigation, to contact the Chaleur Region RCMP at 506-548-7771. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.

The investigation is ongoing.
