Update: RCMP seeking public’s help following theft from a business

The Oromocto RCMP is asking for the public's help to identify a person of interest following a theft in Oromocto, N.B.

The theft occurred on September 27, 2025, at approximately 10:15 a.m., when an individual entered a business on Onondaga Street, took several items, then left the business without paying.

Police are now releasing surveillance footage photos in hopes that someone may recognize the individual. The individual is described as a man, in his mid-thirties, thin build, with a thin strap beard as well as neck and hand tattoos.

Anyone who recognizes the individual in the photos, or who has information that could help further the investigation is asked to contact the Oromocto RCMP at 506-357-4300. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.

The investigation is ongoing.
