An 82-year-old woman from Brockway, N.B., has died following a two-vehicle collision in Brockway, N.B.
On January 3, 2026, at approximately 12:35 p.m., members of the McAdam RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Route 3 near Brockway, New Brunswick.
The collision is believed to have occurred when the driver of a transport truck travelling north crossed the centre line and collided with a car which was travelling south.
An 82-year-old woman, who was the driver, and a passenger in the car, both sustained serious injuries and were transported to hospital. The 82-year-old driver later died as a result of her injuries. The driver and sole occupant of the transport truck was also taken to hospital and sustained what were believed to be minor injuries.
Members of the Harvey Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and an RCMP Traffic Reconstructionist attended the scene.
The investigation is ongoing.
