An 18-year-old man from Moncton, N.B., has died following a single-vehicle crash in Moncton, N.B.

On January 10, 2026, at approximately 7:52 a.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a report of a single-vehicle crash on Highway 2 in Moncton. The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

The crash is believed to have occurred when the vehicle, travelling eastbound, left the roadway and entered the ditch.

Members of the Moncton Fire Department, Ambulance New Brunswick, and the New Brunswick Coroner’s office also attended the scene. An RCMP Collision Reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation.
