The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's help following an assault with a weapon in Moncton, N.B.

On November 19, 2025, at approximately 1:40 a.m., members of the Codiac Regional RCMP responded to a report of an assault with a weapon in a parking lot on Archibald Street, in Moncton. 

Three individuals exited a sedan-style vehicle and approached a man and assaulted him with a weapon. The man was transferred to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The individuals fled before police arrived. 

Police are now releasing a photo of the individuals and the vehicle in the hope that, despite the image quality, someone may recognize them.

Police are asking anyone who was in or resides in the area, who may have a security camera or dash cam footage from the time of the incident, or who has information that may help further the investigation, to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400. Information can also be provided anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), by downloading the secure P3 Mobile App, or by Secure Web Tips at www.crimenb.ca.

The investigation is ongoing.
