RCMP seeking public's help following a serious assault

The Codiac Regional RCMP is investigating an incident in which a 42-year-old woman sustained stab wounds near Victoria Park in Moncton, N.B.

On February 13, 2026, at approximately 8:58 p.m., police responded to a report of a woman suffering from injuries consistent with stab wounds. The incident is believed to have occurred between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. in the area surrounding Victoria Park. The woman was treated at the scene by paramedics with what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries. Police continue to search for who may have been responsible for the assault.
