Missing 16-year-old girl

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public's help locating a missing 16-year-old girl from Moncton, N.B.

Madeleine Welner was last seen on July 3, 2026, at approximately 2 p.m., near the 1600 block of Elmwood Drive, in Moncton. She was reported missing to police the next day. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate her but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and her family are concerned for her wellbeing.

Madeleine Welner is described as being approximately five feet seven inches (170 centimetres) tall and weighing approximately 140 pounds (64 kilograms). She has brown eyes, brown hair, and wears glasses. She was last seen wearing a camouflage tank top and black shorts. A picture of her is currently not available.
