58-year-old man dies following single all-terrain vehicle crash

A 58-year-old man from Saint-André has died following a single all-terrain vehicle (ATV) crash in Rivière-Verte, N.B.

On July 18, 2026, at approximately 8:11 p.m., members of the Saint-Léonard RCMP responded to a report of an ATV crash on Lavoie Rd in Rivière-Verte. 

The crash is believed to have occurred when the driver lost control of the ATV while navigating a curve, entered the ditch, and came to rest in a wooded area. The driver, who was the sole occupant of the ATV, was transported to the hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries.

Members of Ambulance New Brunswick also attended the scene. 

A New Brunswick RCMP collision reconstructionist is assisting with the ongoing investigation, and an autopsy will be conducted to determine the man’s exact cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.
