Missing 63-year-old man

The Shediac RCMP is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 63-year-old man from Cap-Pelé, N.B.

Bernard Devarennes was last seen on July 30, 2026, approximately 10:30 a.m. on Alban Lane, in Cap-Pelé, N.B. He was reported missing to the police the following day. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing.

Bernard Devarennes is described as being approximately five feet seven inches (170 centimetres) tall and weighing approximately 181 pounds (82 kilograms). He has blue eyes and grey hair. He was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt, camouflage shorts, black sneakers, and a grey hat. He was possibly carrying a grey cooler bag with him. 

He may be travelling in a red 2015 Kia Sorento with New Brunswick license plate JJB 558 and was last believed to travelling to the Cape Tourmentine or Shemogue areas.
