RCMP Newfoundland and Labrador continues to look for 38-year-old missing person Justin Cormier, who was last seen on May 15, 2025. Police have received new information about a possible sighting and an updated photo, and are asking anyone with additional information to come forward.

A witness reported a potential sighting of Justin Cormier at Tony’s Lounge in Clarenville, NL in late June or early July 2025. The witness observed the same person a couple of days later outside of the Irving Gas Station on the Trans-Canada Highway in Clarenville.

They described the man as having a scruffy beard, and said he was carrying a black backpack. He last seen wearing a white shirt, a zip-up jacket and dark colored shorts.

Police believe that Justin Cormier may have been looking for a ride to St. John’s.

There is nothing to indicate foul play at this time. Since his disappearance, police have followed up on several leads and possible sightings, however Cormier remains a missing person.

Although Cormier was residing in Caplin Cove at the time he was reported missing, he had previously resided in New Brunswick. He had also recently worked in Kitimat, British Columbia.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Justin Cormier is urged to contact their local police, or the Clarenville RCMP detachment at 709-466-3211. To share information anonymously, please contact Crime Stoppers: at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), visit www.nlcrimestoppers.com or use the P3Tips app.
