On March 12 at approximately 8:45 p.m., Avalon East District RCMP responded to a report of a man making threats at a home in the area of Deer Park.  The suspect had departed the home in a vehicle, which was located by police a short time later on Route 90.   During an attempted traffic stop, the suspect fled from police at a high rate of speed, operating in a dangerous manner.
