Arrest warrant issued for Darrin Hobbs

Clarenville RCMP are asking for the public’s assistance locating 50-year-old Darrin Frederick Hobbs, who is the subject of an active arrest warrant and is currently evading police.
Hobbs is wanted in relation to multiple Criminal Code charges including:
- Assault causing bodily harm;
- Flight from police;
- Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle;
- Failure to comply with conditions of a release order – three counts.
Earlier today police issued a public advisory seeking help to locate a black 2014 Ford Mustang with licence plate JBP 808. Hobbs was the driver of this vehicle, which has since been located in the Charlottetown area and recovered by police.
A photo of Hobbs is attached.
