Springdale RCMP arrests man for uttering threats

A 29-year-old Smith’s Harbour man was arrested and charged by Springdale RCMP on Monday for uttering threats.

Just before 8:30 a.m. on March 23, 2026, Springdale RCMP responded to a report of a man threatening another person. Police located him and placed him under arrest for uttering threats.

The 29-year-old man was released with conditions and will appear in court in May 2026 to answer to a Criminal Code charge of uttering threats against a person.
