Whitbourne RCMP is investigating a report of a theft from a local gas station Friday afternoon, and are looking for the public’s assistance identifying a vehicle and woman captured on surveillance.

Shortly before 1:00 p.m. on March 27, police received a report of a theft from the North Atlantic in Whitbourne. A store employee reported that a woman — described as young, wearing a red top and black leggings — put fuel into a car, then entered the store but left without paying. 

The vehicle also captured on video surveillance. It is a yellow or gold-coloured sedan, possibly a Toyota.
