UPDATE (April 17, 2026): Nain RCMP advises that Janice Ikkusek has been arrested. RCMP NL wished to thank the media and the public for their assistance.

Nain RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance locating 40-year-old Janice Kitty Ikkusek, who is the subject of an active arrest warrant and is currently evading police.

Ikkusek is wanted in relation to multiple Criminal Code charges including:

• Break and enter,
• Failure to comply with conditions of a probation order – three counts.

A photo of Ikkusek is attached.
