Bay St. George investigating incidents of animal cruelty, seeking public's assistance

Bay St. George RCMP is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of two dogs whose remains were discovered in St. George’s and ask anyone with information to contact police.

On Friday, April 24, 2026, police responded to the discovery of canine remains near the recreation complex on Diamond Court in St. George’s. The remains of two dogs were safely recovered and are believed to have been placed there within the last two weeks. 

Police are investigating the circumstances around their deaths, and are asking any witnesses, on anyone with information about this incident to contact Bay St. George RCMP at 709-643-2118
